CREATING BEAUTIFUL SMILES WITH
Gum Recession
Gum recession leads to exposure of tooth root. This can lead to tooth sensitivity or aesthetic concerns.
By using biologically active materials, we can help patients improve their gum recession defects with minimally invasive techniques.
Traditionally, gum recession was addressed solely with gum or connective tissue grafts. This process required harvesting tissue from a donor site within the mouth, which was then grafted onto the affected area. While this method proved to be effective, the discomfort associated with the donor site often made it difficult for patients to tolerate.
Now, with the advancement of A-PRF and I-PRF, along with allografts (donor tissue), we can offer many patients a solution for gum recession that does not require removing healthy tissue from another area.
