Dr Strachan is a specialist anaesthetist with extensive experience in providing safe and effective sedation anaesthesia. She has collaborated closely with Dr Oliver Strachan to develop and deliver our dental sedation service at Northshore Dental Care, ensuring that patients receive compassionate and personalised care in a calm and controlled environment.

Dr Strachan completed her undergraduate medical training at Griffith University in 2012. She began her anaesthetic training in 2019, gaining experience in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and she obtained her Fellowship from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2024.

Currently, Dr Strachan works full-time in private practice as a consultant anaesthetist at several private hospitals throughout the Gold Coast. Her diverse practice encompasses most surgical specialties, with a particular interest in dental sedation, urology, and bariatric surgery.

Dr Strachan is dedicated to delivering sedation anaesthesia in dentistry, supporting complex dental treatments, surgical procedures, and providing care for anxious dental patients. She prioritises patient safety and conducts thorough preoperative assessments to ensure comfort and a smooth recovery, allowing patients to undergo dental treatment with confidence.
